Intro to Herbalism & Apothecary Sciences

Whether used for medicine or magic, the home apothecary is an altar of healing, nourishment, and self-reliance. When we stand before it, we walk with plant allies in the power to transform ourselves and others, both physically and spiritually. But with such a vast world of knowledge in it's depth, it can be hard to figure out where to begin building this temple.

Exploring applications in both the magical and medicinal worlds, join us as we chart a course toward self-sufficiency, healing, and magic. From how to choose your plant allies carefully, to detailed instructions on basic preparations, this introduction will help us make our way into the sanctuary of the apothecary.

This workshop will include-

• demonstrations & detailed instruction on creating herbal medicines at home
• crafting salves, tinctures, infused vinegars, and more
• Working with herbal correspondences for magic & medicine
• An examination of work from herbalists of history, including Nicholas Culpeper, Hildegard Von Bingen, Theophrastus, and more!
