Lunar Witchcraft : Magic by the Moon

As a central figure in traditional depictions of witchcraft, the Moon is an especially potent ally for practitioners of all kinds. Join Melissa Madara for an exciting lecture in which we will unpack the varied significances of the moon in all her phases, and her relation to witchcraft since the deeply ancient world. Students will examine various charms and symbols of lunar spirits, explore planetary magic with the moon, and study an assortment of spells and rites for calling down the Moon into our magic. From practical magic to archetypal correspondences, this is a class for both curious students of history and experienced witches, as well as all who wish to deepen their understanding of our closest luminary, Luna.
