About the event

Join me in taking a look at the meandering and curious history of kitchen magic in European witchcraft!

This lecture will trace a lineage of culinary craft from the ancient world to the present, seeking out the tools and techniques of kitchen witchcraft as we go. We will be shining a light on this all-too-often marginalized and trivialized aspect of witchcraft, peering into the bubbling cauldrons of witches past to see what they were cooking. Much of this research was first presented in my book, The Witch's Feast : A Kitchen Grimoire, but this lecture also includes lots of unreleased material that never made it to publication. Come learn about the earliest of recorded recipes, the bread feasts of ancient Rome, blessed pastries of the Renaissance, planetary magic with ingredients, and much, much, more!

This event will be recorded for all ticketholders. If you miss our live class, recordings will be sent along afterward.
